The Fire not only keeps The Dark at bay, it also precludes what lies within...
KEEP THE FIRE ALIVE.
A simple game. You're in a forest, with only one real goal. Pick up sticks, feed it to the fire. Don't let the fire die out--you'll regret it. Try to make it to day 7 to "win"--if you can.
Controls:
- WASD to move (obviously).
- Ctrl to zoom.
- R or T to use a flashlight.
- E to interact.
If you believe your assets (visual, audio, or 3D models) have been used without proper credit, please contact me on Discord (@Potaytoman). I will ensure you are credited in the final build of the game, as previous builds will not include credits.
The file may be flagged as a virus due to a signing issue with Unity-based games on Windows 10/11. To proceed past the "this .exe may be dangerous" screen, click More Info > Run Anyway. If the download is blocked, temporarily disable "Virus & Threat Protection," download the file, and re-enable it.

I played for about five minutes, wandering around and trying to find more sticks, but couldn’t locate any. I ventured a bit deeper into the forest, only to get completely blindsided by a jumpscare that instantly closed the game. I didn’t manage to beat it, but I have to admit it’s aesthetically pleasing, and the atmosphere was really well done. The visual effects on screen do make me feel a little sick after a while though :D

Thank you, and I'll take this review into consideration for future updates. The sticks regenerate--so sticking close to the campfire is the way to go.
The jumpscare you faced was likely your fellow camper, or at least he was your fellow camper.
